What are night venues and Lap Dance venues and how do they really work?

Today, with the national economy in difficulty, many venues in Italy have adapted to the crisis, becoming less exclusive and more accessible than in the past, designed to suit every kind of clientele.

In Italy the night venue has become a place where every customer, of any age group, can easily find evenings and entertainment for every taste and need:

• Live music and piano bar
• Karaoke entertainment
• Themed party nights
• Fashion shows and contests
• Sexy Star shows
• Birthday parties and stag/hen nights

In modern times many night venues have become less selective places, accessible to younger customers too. The clientele is adult and looks for an evening of music, conversation and entertainment.

In a night venue customers spend the evening with friends or in the company of the Club Hostesses present in the venue.

Entry to a night venue is allowed only to adult customers and follows the venue's internal rules (some are reserved for members only).

As for opening hours and opening/closing days of night venues, in Italy the situation varies a lot and mainly depends on 3 factors:

1. The habits of the local clientele
2. The choices of the venue management
3. The time of year in tourist areas

For these reasons there is no precise rule: some clubs have a fixed closing day every week (some even more than one), while others are always open, every day of the week and of the year.

The staff employed in a night venue is made up of the following professional figures, each with their own duties:

• Bouncers: in charge of security
• Waiters: serve customers in the room
• Bartenders: run the bar at the counter
• Cashier: keeps the venue's accounts in order

What the girls do in night venues

The girls working inside night venues are hired as Club Hostesses (Figuranti di Sala) or Lap Dancers and are paid to entertain customers in a healthy and cheerful way: their task is to make the night fun and never boring for the guests.

These are two distinct roles: the Club Hostess entertains with conversation and presence in the room; the Lap Dancer also performs lap dance.

In the room, depending on the type of venue, you can find up to a maximum of 60 girls, although most night venues in Italy have a maximum of 15/20.

How time with customers works

In the room the Hostess spends with customers moments of company made of conversation and presence: duration and details follow the venue's internal rules.

What the privé is

In Italy, night venues may have a more reserved area called the privé: it is not present in every venue and its rules are set by each venue.

In SERIOUS, well-run venues, the privé is a private area of the club where customers can enjoy the company of the girls in a more reserved and intimate way:

• No physical contact is allowed
• No shows or stripteases are permitted
• There is no pole to dance on
• You talk and have fun just like in the room

In Sexy Disco and Lap Dance venues, instead, the privé has a pole and lasts 10/15 minutes at most: here the Lap Dancers are required to go topless as well as perform the sexy dance as a private show.

Club Hostess (Figurante di Sala): how the job works

The first phase of your job will start with the usual preparations: from the shower to make-up and hair care. Right after dinner, at around 9/9:30 pm you will have to be ready to go to work. Where the venue organises transfers, the staff pick up the girls staying in the accommodation: you will be driven to the night venue and then home at the end of the shift (this applies only to those who choose to stay in the apartments made available by the venue).

Work in a night venue usually starts at 10 pm (in some venues at 11 pm), but you will arrive at the venue about half an hour earlier: you will have time to change in the dressing room and put on your favourite sexy little dress with a nice pair of heels.

Finally you are ready to start! At this point you just have to walk into the room and sit down with the other girls, your colleagues, waiting for the first customers to come in. The clientele you will deal with in night venues is made up of adult men of any age. So you will meet adult customers of different ages and habits: your role stays the same with all of them.

As soon as you start talking with the first customer, remember that table service is handled by the waiters: your task is the conversation.

At this point you will choose, together with the customer, where to spend the time together in the venue:

• Standing at the counter like at a bar
• Around the dance floor
• Sitting on a more comfortable sofa
• Or in a more secluded area of the venue

Whichever place you choose, from that moment your time in the customer's company begins.

The duration follows the venue's rules: your task is to make the conversation pleasant, with no stripping and no physical contact.

During the evening you will spend time with different customers and rarely with just one.

In many venues work ends at around 4 am, from Sunday to Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays it often ends at about 5 am: hours and days depend on the venue and are communicated to you in advance.

What do I do if a customer gets touchy?

Simple! You take his hands and firmly put them back where they belong, explaining to the customer that if it happens again you will get up and end the conversation. These are situations that can happen (though rarely) during work and that you surely already experience first-hand in your daily life: it happens at the bar, in the disco and elsewhere. So you probably already know how to handle it!

How the pay conditions are defined

For both roles, pay, any variable components, payment methods and times depend on the specific opportunity and are explained to you before you choose. We do not publish figures on the site, because conditions change from one venue to another.

• Your experience in the job
• Your looks
• Your skills

The privé is not present in every venue; where there is one, rules and conditions are explained to you before you accept.

Lap Dancer: how the job works

Lap Dancers are good-looking girls with a talent for public relations and a flair for dancing: they wear skimpy outfits or lingerie and high-heeled shoes.

The Lap Dancer introduces herself to the customer on her own initiative, to spend time in his company in the room or for performances in the privé.

In many Lap Dance venues you work 4/5 nights a week, because they often stay closed two days a week for rest. Hours are often from 10 pm to around 4 am: hours and days depend on the venue and you know them first.

The job of a Lap Dancer consists of entertaining customers in the room, talking, joking and having fun in their company. In the privé, instead, you only have to perform a show reserved for the customer, dancing at the pole and going topless.

The duration of the time spent in the room with customers follows the venue's internal rules, while each privé lasts 10/15 minutes.

Lap Dancers in the venues can optionally perform public shows on the stage dancing on the pole to three or four songs of their choice, during which they will have to go topless.
